Our History
When the local supply company Wayne Castro and Robert Ingalsbe worked for went out of business in early 2006, they decided they’d open up their own business based out of Ingalsbe’s home to start. By Dec. 2006, the business had outgrown the house, far more quickly than they expected and they moved to a new location. Since then, the company has scaled up twice, to larger locations to handle the volume of the orders.
While the bulk of Empire’s business came from all around the country, the backbone of the company came from local businesses like L.E. Dangler Masonry, Fowler Concrete, and FCI Construction by bending backwards for them with competitive pricing, efficient ordering and superior customer service. To this day, those core values that founded their company remain the focal point in everyday operations.
Since then, Ingalsbe and Castro have founded a Cutting/Coring company and a Floor epoxy and Polishing company, primarily to adhere to the needs of the industry and test all new products firsthand, ensuring quality around the board. Currently their focus is innovating new designs and tooling to challenge the speed and quality of every diamond tool in the industry.
